The famous tattoo master Kat Von D, who owns a successful cosmetic line, re-launches her fragrance duo Saint & Sinner, originally presented in 2009.
Saint & Sinner in their new interpretation come out in mid July 2017 at Sephora, and will be available globally in October. The fragrant pair can be used alone or in combination with each other. The compositions remain faithful to the original, presented in bottles of a completely new design.
Saint & Sinner represent two sides of Kat Von D’s personality; Saint is the good, brighter one and Sinner is the bad, darker side, which is reflected in the very compositions.
Saint is a gourmand oriental – floral fragrance with mirabelle plum, white flowers and sweet flavors.
Sinner comprises fruity flavors such as mandarin and plum in the opening, with white flowers and intense cinnamon in the heart. The composition is ruled by a patchouli note, located at the base.
The new bottles are designed by Kat Von D herself, who wanted to mimic the shape of the anatomical human heart that can fit into the palm of a hand.
Top notes: clary sage, Mirabelle plum
Heart: almond blossom, lily of the valley, jasmine
Base: cedar, vanilla, peach skin, musk
Top notes: mandarin, orange blossom, plum
Heart: jasmine, white flowers, cinnamon
Base: patchouli, vetiver, vanilla, musk
Both fragrances are available as 50 ml Eau de Parfum for $65 each and as mini rollerballs for $22.
Saint also had a cinnamon element, but erred toward the gourmand end of the spectrum with caramel and orange. The fragrances were practically everywhere, stocked within every Sephora and travel bottles littering our bathroom counters, then all of a sudden, they were just gone without explanation.
